Welcome to Cambridge Jr. Bears Football


Please read this information in its entirety (there are changes from prior seasons)

  • ALL 6th-8th graders zoned for Cambridge High School (based on your child's grade as of 9/1/22)

  • Early Bird Registration: Mar 1- Apr 30  $650
  • Late Registration:         May 1-Jun 30  $700

*Registration is NOT complete until payment is made.  CFF is a non-profit organization and strives to keep registration fees as low as possible while maintaining the integrity and safety of our program.  Please see "Included in Registration" below for a description of what these fees cover.  If you have a financial need, please see the link below for information on our scholarship program.


  • 1st Player= Full Price
  • 2nd Player= $100 discount
  • 3+Players= $50 discount per player


  • Cancel by Jun 1 = 100% refund
  • Cancel Jun 2 - July 31 = 50% refund (less $25 processing fee)
  • Cancel Aug 1 or after = NO refund


  • We never want financial means to affect a child's ability to play for CFF

  • FURY Conditioning Camp - Tuesdays/Thursdays Jun 7-30th 9a-11a at North Park (8, 2-hour sessions)
  • Coaches Camp - Jul 11-13th 6p-8p at Cambridge High School
  • Player Pack: Dry-fit practice shirt, shorts, personalized equipment bag (for new players)
  • Uniform: Practice Jersey, Game Day Jersey(s), Game Day Pants, Game Socks (Navy, Flag, BCA Pink)
  • Equipment: Helmet, Guardian Cap, Shoulder Pads
  • Other Costs Covered: Field Rentals (Practice and Home Games), Officials, EMTs, Insurance, Training/Game Equipment, Equipment Conditioning and Updating, Concussion Testing, Background Testing
  • Note: Player will need to purchase mouth guard(s), white practice pants, cleats, any additional protective equipment/gloves, etc. 

*Equipment and Game Uniforms (less socks) are returned at the end of the season


  • Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of 3 events per season/per player (i.e. twins would require a family to volunteer for 6 events)
  • Middle school/Feeder families are required to volunteer for High School games (Friday nights) and High School families are required to volunteer at Middle School/Feeder
  • Volunteer requirements are: Concessions, Parking, Admissions (Friday nights during the football season)
  • A volunteer sign up will be sent as soon as the season schedule is available and parents will be able to choose their preferred date and volunteer assignment
  • Any parents not signing up during the initial phase will be assigned and responsible for volunteering during the assigned date and activity


Each player is required to provide the following information in order for your player to be cleared to play football for Cambridge Jr Bears.  
*NOTE: GMSAA requires hard copies of all forms below-no digital forms accepted.

  1. Birth Certificate 
    • Copy only, no originals please  
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  2. Sports Physical Form   
    • MUST be valid through 11/30/22
    • Physicals are valid for 1 year from the EXAM DATE, must be dated 11/30/21 or later
    • Form must be signed by your player’s physician  
  3. GMSAA Residency Certification Form 
    • Certify that your player resides in the Cambridge High School District
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  4. Utility Bill 
    • Current utility bill (electric, gas, or water/sewer) showing player's address
  5. GMSAA Waiver of Liability
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  6. GMSAA COVID Waiver 
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  7. GMSAA Concussion Awareness Form  
    • This form confirms player(s) and parent(s) have read and understand the GMSAA concussion information and policy
    • Completed/signed by player
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  8. CFF Player and Parent Commitment and Code of Conduct
    •  (Please read carefully- conduct by players and parents is strictly enforced!)
    • Completed/signed by player (Player will need to know what is expected as far as his effort, code and conduct on the field)
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian (Parents should read and sign the Family Guideline form which outlines the rules and guidelines you will need to follow)
  9. CFF Medical Registration Form 
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
  10. CFF ImPact Consent Form 
    • Completed/signed by player
    • Completed/signed by parent or guardian
    • Only for players who have not had a baseline ImPact test


  • Cambridge Feeder Football is a member of the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA) and will compete against feeder programs of other local area high schools
  • Teams are determined by grade, with one team for each grade 6th-8th
  • If a team has enough players, they will participate in Wednesday night games against other teams in our program (in lieu of one practice night) to allow newer/developing players playing time/experience (while more experienced players would typically see more playing time during Saturday games)

  • All teams will practice at Cambridge High School (practice field or stadium field) weather pending
  • Practices will be 3 nights per week (1 weeknight practice replaced by JV game if applicable)
  • Heat acclimation week (1st week of practice) tentatively scheduled for week of July 25-29, 2022

  • Practice schedules to be confirmed/announced by 1st week of practice


  • Fury Summer Conditioning Camp: 8 sessions, Tuesdays/Thursdays in June, 9am-11am at North Park, starts June 7th, Free for CJB registered players
  • Coaches Camp: 6th-8th grade, July 11-13th, 6pm-8pm at Cambridge High School, Free for CJB registered players
  • All In All The Time Camp: Hosted by Cambridge High School, July 18-20th, 9am-12pm at Cambridge High School, Open to all grades (Kindergarten-8th), Cost: $120 (fundraiser for CHS football)


  • All games will be played at local high school fields on Saturdays (and Wednesday nights if teams have enough players)
  • Home games will be played at Cambridge High School
  • Wednesday and/or Saturday games are SUBJECT TO CHANGE (please keep your schedule flexible)
  • Game schedule will be released the 1st week of August 2022
